The 201-pool rummy is just like the 101-pool rummy game with the only difference being the calculation of drop points and the maximum point limit. In this variant, the maximum points limit is 201 wherein the drop points are calculated as – 25 points for the first drop, 50 points for the middle drop, and 80 points for a wrong declaration.
The other not-so-common but available in the market variants of pool rummy are 51 pool rummy and 61 pool rummy. These were specifically created keeping in mind the essence of the rummy game but with the objective of offering a faster version of the multi-round rummy variant.
